🌸 Just 20 minutes in nature can reduce stress hormones, improve focus, and deepen connection.
Waking up to howler monkeys 🐵 and having breakfast while watching hummingbirds in the rainforest of Bijagua, Costa Rica, I’d never felt as immersed in the present as I did in those moments.
As a city-girl, I was terrified of doing environmental conservation work, but an inner voice prompted me to connect with nature, and over 10 years later, this adventure remains with me.
I still carry with me the calm and wisdom that being so deeply immersed in nature provided me. Not only did I witness the connection between all things, but I also formed a part of it.
At In Nature with Nina ☀️ , we believe nature is more than a backdrop—it’s a teacher. One of the key ideas in Value-Creating Education for Global Citizenship is understanding the interconnectedness of life. When families spend time outdoors, they’re not just breathing fresh air—they’re learning:
· How ecosystems thrive on cooperation.
· How every living being plays a role.
· How we, too, are part of this intricate web.
These lessons help children (and adults!) embrace diversity, develop empathy, and strengthen bonds—with themselves, others, and the planet 🌍 .
At In Nature with Nina, we design activities and workshops that spark these very moments of discovery and connection for families. Because learning is most powerful when it’s lived.
